While I understand there are a number of processes a proposal must go through to gain approval in B.C., I do not like the idea that land use decisions regarding resorts in rural areas of our province could be made in secret by the Cabinet in Victoria —as it appears Bill 11 of Section 15 would allow. This is especially troubling when it comes to the proposed Jumbo Glacier Resort project. Your government has explicitly promised that the Regional District of East Kootenay, as representatives of residents who would be most affected by the resort, would have the final say in this decision. I believe Section 15 of Bill 11 to be an unconscionable affront to the democracy of our province and I ask your government to remove it from the act. Please add your own comments:   Send
