Kicking Horse Coffee has created a special coffee blend to support the Jumbo Wild initiative, Fair Trade Jumbo Wild (medium roast), and has been exceptionally vocal of their opposition to the proposed Jumbo Glacier Resort development.

Kicking Horse Coffee launched their “bold new blend of protest” in support of Jumbo Wild. As well, a percentage of sales will go to support the Jumbo Creek Conservation Society (JCCS).

Kicking Horse Coffee says, "This blend is part of our environmental awareness program. There is a battle in our back yard, in which local and provincial governments do not seem to be listening to the people. We are fighting for the protection of a precious alpine area know as Jumbo. There is a proposed "Jumbo Resort" to be built with provincial governments environmental approval. The alpine destruction will be permanent if this resort is built. There will be no going back. "Let's stick it to the man" by showing your support."
